Mary's Diner - The Mug!
Mary’s Diner — Twain Harte, California
Home of "The Mug"
Before it was called The Mug, it was Mary’s Diner — a simple, beloved spot where locals gathered, stories were shared, and the now-famous Twain Harte root beer mug first found its home.
This shirt is a tribute to those late-’70s days when diners were more than places to eat. They were landmarks. Meeting spots. The kind of place where you didn’t need a reservation — just a seat and a little time.
If you remember Mary’s, you remember the mugs.
If you remember the mugs, you remember the feeling.
This design celebrates a piece of Twain Harte history that lives on in memory, tradition, and a mug that somehow outlasted the building itself.
Soft, comfortable, and made to be worn like an old favorite — because that’s exactly what Mary’s was.
Details that matter:
• 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (Heather colors contain polyester)
• Fabric weight: 4.2 oz./yd.² (142 g/m²)
• Pre-shrunk fabric
• Side-seamed construction
• Shoulder-to-shoulder taping
• Blank product sourced from Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, or the US
Some places close.
Some places become legend.
